Kolkata : Electronic goods maker Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing is targeting sales revenues of Rs 1,000 crore for its appliances division during the current financial year, a company official said on Tuesday. The contribution of the segment would be 25 per cent to the overall revenues of the company, CEO of appliances appliances Godrej George Menezes told reporters. Last year, the division had earned a revenue of Rs 800 crore. He said the company is setting up new production lines at its Mohali and Pune plants, which will increase their combined production capacity from 12 lakh units to 15 lakh units. In the refrigerator segment, the company has a market share of 20 per cent. It plans to strengthen the market in air conditioners, washing machines and microwave ovens segment.
