It has also earned the accolade of being No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction’ in various surveys. Its success has once again being acknowledged by consumers through the Awaaz Consumer Award’ in the refrigerator category. It is also India’s first appliance company to sell 10 million appliances. It was the first to introduce refrigerators that are 100% free of CFC, HCFC and HFC. It has also launched designer refrigerators-draped with changeable vinyl sheets-before any other company. Its brand positioning has changed over the years from that of an older refrigerator to a younger, cooler one, roping in glamorous film stars as brand ambassadors in the course of this transformation.
